4-H Club Objectives: |
- Acquire knowledge, skills and attitudes for a
satisfying home life.
- Enjoy a useful work experience, together with
the responsibility and satisfaction of a personal
accomplishment.
- Understand rights and duties of a citizen in
democratic society.
- Appreciate the values of research and learn
scientific methods of making decisions and solving
problems.
- Recognize the importance of scientific
agriculture and home economics and their
relationship to our total economy.
- Explore career opportunities.
- Cultivate healthful living, purposeful
recreation and intelligent use of leisure time.
- Strengthen personal standards and values.
- Develop the ability to work well with others.
All that is done in the 4-H program should be directed toward achieving one or more of these objectives.
